What’s On Sale in August?
AUGUST: Back-to-School items continue to be on sale. Look for deals on school supplies, computers, dorm room furniture and accessories. The best deals on supplies are at office supply stores such as Staples, Office Max and Office Depot, and large retailers such as Kmart, Target and Wal-Mart. You may want to follow our Back-to-School series to find the best sales each week.
School supplies will not go on sale like this until next July, so be sure to stock up while you can. Think about how many supplies your children will need for the school year as well as what you will use at home, then purchase enough supplies to cover those needs for the entire year. Don’t forget to pick up supplies for your home office or business.
